SUMMER SOIREE WITH CHEF BEVERLY GANNON
AT SUB-ZERO/WOLF SHOWROOM
Chef Beverly Gannon was on hand to provide a cooking demonstration in the Sub-Zero/Wolf Showroom’s state of the art kitchen. Ms. Gannon told guests, “I learned to cook on a Wolf.” Chef Gannon prepared summer dishes from her recent book, “Family-Style Meals At The Hali’imaile General Store” with organic and local ingredients from Whole Foods Market. Little Black Dress Wine Cocktails created by Nobu included a Cucumber White Peach Sangria and a Sparkling Red Sangria a.k.a R.I.A. Desserts from Whole Foods Market included Summer Tarts and Cannolis.
The evening’s fashion showcase was by Muumuu Heaven specializing in recreating vintage muumuu into updated designs. Another featured green business was Ecohashi, who educated people on their concept of BYOC (bring your own chopsticks).
Local artists included painter, Hung Kwai Chan, and Eileen Tokita, with her one of a kind crystal embellished items and bling.
