Over 600 students who completed Kokua Earth Action Projects this school year were invited to this year’s Keiki Kokua Day which included performances with Ziggy Marley and Jack Johnson, presentations of certificates of achievement to each student group, and hands-on learning activities with environmental non-profits and Keiki Kokua partners.

APRIL 24 & 25, 2010
WAIKIKI SHELL IN HAWAII
The concert was sold out. People from all over the world came to hear Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, Taj Mahal, Jake Shimabukuro and Anuhea. There was also a special appearance by Paula Fuga.
In addition there were over 40 eco-friendly vendors in food, fashion, education and awareness.
All efforts for this event were to support Kokua Foundation Hawaii, a non-profit organization supporting environmental education in Hawaii’s schools and communities. Their mission is to provide students with experiences that will enhance their appreciation for and understanding of the environment so they will be lifelong stewards of the earth.
