Lacy Lingerie for Your Feet
Take your feet for a walk on the sexy side with lingerie for your feet. This new creation from RisQuè by Mai Lieu adds a little something extra to your ensemble. These accessories are not merely fashionable, but also functional.

“Every time I would wear heels,” says Lieu, “my feet would get blisters and get sweaty. I couldn’t find any kind of hosiery that would look good with the shoes.” So Lieu came up with a way to wear heels while keeping her feet cool and dry and protected from friction. RisQuè products look and feel sexy, while also making feet more comfortable and covering up possible foot insecurities.
This is the second product line from Hawaii-based inventor, Lieu, who moved here from Canada six years ago. Her first product, the CreaClip, an at-home hair cutting tool, was nominated twice for Best New Product of the Year, a Stevie Award for Women in Business. It also sold out within minutes during its debut release on the Home Shopping Network. The flair of her new product, the lingerie for your feet, promises a second success for Lieu.
A wide range of styles is available. The signature piece, open toe slingbacks, is the perfect accessory for peep toe pumps. RisQuè’s white slingbacks paired with black open toe shoes is Lieu’s personal favorite. However, the black slingbacks are the diamond studs of footwear lingerie, they go with everything.

The collection is awaiting its exciting launch at the Celebrity Gifting Event and Oscar’s Sneak Peak in Hollywood on February 9th. Soon celebrities will be wearing Risquè footwear accessories, but they aren’t the only ones who can receive a pair gratis.
Until February 25th, RisQuè will be giving away 100 free pairs of their signature style through their Facebook fan page. All fans are automatically entered into the drawing, and winners will be chosen at random. You could be one of the first to be sporting this new trend.
For those not lucky or famous enough to receive a free pair, RisQuè’s online store will soon be up and running. However, the collection is already online for viewing, so you can plan your future purchase. There are various colors and prints available as leggings, tights, knee highs, stirrups, slingbacks, and peds. Prices range from $6 to $20.
RisQuè items will hopefully be available at Lord and Taylor stores on the mainland by April. Lieu tells me that both Forever 21 and Victoria’s Secret have also shown interest in the product. With luck, Hawaii residents will be able to purchase their favorite RisQuè products at these popular retail locations.
